  The best atmosphere we've ever experienced. The hotel is run by a family which lives in the same building (a couple and their 8 year old son). The lady does all the organizational work (reception, breakfast cooking etc). The area where the hotel is situated is very quiet with almost no traffic (at least we could not hear any at night and in the mo... vad folk säger » rning). We were surprised by the amount of information the lady (who speaks very good English) provided us with upon arrival. Extensive info about the - Everything. The owner is the real deal, does not just go thru the motions but really cares that you are happy and taken care of. Takes the time to go the extra 100 miles, for advice to plan your day or your trip, to make custom eggs for breakfast, to make sure you have everything you need in your room. The place is nice, the rooms are clean and modern. The fact that it is in the suburbs is a slight inconvenience that I would gladly suffer again to stay here. The busstop is a 2 minute walk, come

  Excellent!!!! High standard in everything! I strongly reccomand as a holiday destination. - We stayed at triple room which was spacious enough.

The breakfast in the morning is another highlight. - We had a wonderful stay at Kalmar Pensio. It is a beautiful 120 year old mansion comverted into a Pension in an excellent location. It is very near the Chain Bridge in Budapest, right behind the Gellert Baths and so easily accessible to all major sightseeing venues yet in a residential area. The Manager, Ester made us very welcome and was very informative and helpful. We had a huge room with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and a huge bathroom! What more could you ask for?!

  Friendly Staff. Family run (at least looked like). Good location if you look for something near Industrial Areas. Quiet location. No traffic noise - cheap accomodation, near the highway and near to Budapest, relatively clean. Lady at the desk speaks a little German so basic communication was possible, which can be sometimes quite hard in Hungary.... vad folk säger » You can pay in Euros or Forints. Cold and cheap beer at the bar!
