  We had an excellent stay at the Budapest residence! It started when we arrived terribly late as we were caught in a snow storm driving from Krakow and did not arrive until 2am. The concierge (I believe his name was Peter or Paul - sorry!) Was so friendly and greeted us like we arrived at 2 in the afternoon! He happily took us to our room, showed u... vad folk säger » s around and even went to the parking lot around the corner and waited for the guy to arrange a space for us! The flat was very open and spacious, dec - The apartments are equipped with everything you need for a short vacation or a long stay. The metro station is 5 mins walk away, as are the starting points for all the tourists hop-on buses. It is located within the gozsdu court where there are nice cafes and bars around. The artists market is also fun to walk through. The staff helped us with information on the sights and transport and even got us discounts on some bookings.

  Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal - the location of the hotel was brilliant. the staff were friendly and always helpfull. - Good breakfast included and it was really warm in the cold weather!

  We couldn't have been happier with our apartment. A group of 10 split between two two-bed apartments- ours was spacious, clean and with all the mod cons. The staff were really helpful and friendly - especially Gabor - and were willing to help with directions, cabs and weren't annoyed when the other group paid a bit later. It was equipped for all our basic needs and the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our "home from home" during our 3 days in Budapest and would definitely aim to stay here again on any future visit to Budapest. The breakfast in the morning is another highlight. - We had a wonderful stay at Kalmar Pensio. It is a beautiful 120 year old mansion comverted into a Pension in an excellent location. It is very near the Chain Bridge in Budapest, right behind the Gellert Baths and so easily accessible to all major sightseeing venues yet in a residential area. The Manager, Ester made us very welcome and was very informative and helpful. We had a huge room with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and a huge bathroom! What more could you ask for?!

The air-conditioning was really welcome after a hot day's sight-seeing and we had everything we needed. The apartment was an easy walk to many main attractions and for a family of four was a really cost-effective way to enjoy Budapest. Location was awesome- everything was really close- city center 5 min walk, supermarkets, restaurants within 5-10 min, possible to walk to all the famous city sights.
