  It is an interesting location, right across a mill stream from the old castle on the lake. The Eszterhazy Palace is around the corner, but it is not open and in need of much renovation. The hotel is right next to the lake, which has an excellent walking path. Boating is available, but we did not have time. There did not appear to be other restaurants close by, but we had a very nice dinne - Great location.We loved Tata. We were on the first floor and both of our rooms were large. We enjoyed several wonderful meals at the restaurant.

  Excellent hotel! Large room with balcony and fridge, very clean, comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful host (he had a map with suggested walking tour and made great restaurant recommendations). We were on a bike trip across Hungary and he let us park the bikes in the garage. Fast wifi, satellite TV with hundreds of channels. B - We enjoyed everything about our stay. Our host was most obliging and helpful. Our room was spacious, air-conditioned and well set-up. The WiFi worked well. There was a good selection of food at breakfast with the option of some cooked eggs, etc. The hotel was close to a small supermarket if you needed some supplies and it was 10-15 minutes walk from the basilica/castle area and some excellent restaurants which our host recommended. Parking was easy.

  We loved the location right on the lake. We were lucky enough to have a balcony overlooking the lake which was breathtaking. Everyone at the hotel was really helpful and friendly.   Very friendly helpful staff and management. When we were in the restaurant for breakfast the lady who was serving us changed the channel on the television to BBC world service so that we could hear the news in English - very thoughtful. - 1. Good breakfast.

  We have visited Hilltop for the 2nd time and the stay was even better. The establishment offers wonderful view on Danube, excellent restaurant for a reasonable price.   This was a beautiful Hotel. The room was first class, the staff was very helpful, and the included breakfast buffet was very good. The cost was great compared to the cost of other hotels/motels that we stayed at during our trip. I strongly recommend a walk around the golf course. The room was great with a comfortable bed. The free Wi-fi was accessible in the room. The breakfast included eggs, sausages, cold cuts, cheese.
