  Very clean, good quality interior, back rooms a little smaller than front ones but very quiet indeed. We could sleep with an open window. Good breakfast 7-10am, replenished regularly: fried, boiled, scrambled eggs, bacon (but rather fatty), hot sausages, beans, cold meats, cheeses, tomatoes, cucumbers, fruits, yoghurts, various breads, nice little... vad folk säger » sweet pastries etc. We didn't hear any noise from the hallway or other rooms, except one evening when a chair was moved across a floor (floors are wo - 1.   The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. We asked if we could take a baby high chair into our apartment and they allowed us to take one from the breakfast buffet restaurant. Tjhe apartment was cleaned, bathroom amenities and even washing detegrant provided on a daily basis. The service is excellent and worth of 5 stars. The staff was very friendly and helpful for all our needs. We didn't bother with the breakfast because there are plenty of local bakeries and Boscolo provides free coffee 24 hours. Location was great - access to all forms of local transportation - best bet is to buy 3 day pass at the airport as Budapest is pretty spread out.

  Very nice and comfortable apartment and close to the citycenter with many restaurants and shopping streets, and also away from street noise. Fully equipped with everything you need for a nice Holiday. The owner Andras is very friendly and serviceminded and even met us at a nearby metro station and walked us to the Apartment.   I can't recall staying in a better city centre hotel than this and all at a very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for them. The conversion from a venerable old residence to a modern comfortable hotel has been carried out with style and panache. We will certainly try and book the Zichy when we visit Budapest again and would recommend it wholeheartedly to - We loved everything about the hotel.We upgraded our room and stayed in a wonderful junior suite on the fifth floor.It was quiet,clean,big and the bathroom had a walk in shower and a jacuzzi.Plenty of closet space and a great bed.The staff was polite and very helpful.They spoke excellent English.They booked restaurants,massages and ordered taxis.I would defenitely recommend this hotel to all my friends.We also liked its situation,district 8.we walked everywhere.Good job!!!
