  This pension was fabulous! The facility is beautiful, impeccably clean, in a wonderful setting and with a friendly helpful staff. The restaurant was wonderful. We ate on the terrace under a trellis of grape vines. Prices are a bargain- our dinner wine and shared dessert for three 36 euros. We will come back to Hungary just to stay at this place again! Oh - The size of our 2 person suite was great and we were pleased that there was a small kitchenette in the room, this was half separated from the bedroom which is handy with little ones. We had a decent sized private outside area off our room that would have been lovely if the weather was warm enough! The hotel is situated right next to the valley which is perfect for wine tasting.

  It waas one of the best hotels I've stayed in recently. Nicelypresented, pleasant, helpful staff. Nice to have a thermal bath soeasily accessible. - The spa-facilities!!

  The restaurant was very good and there was a variety of breakfast food. The walk to "The Valley of Beautiful Women" is short and the walk into the centre is a pleasant 20 minutes.   Attila and his wife are the perfect hosts. The hotel is wonderful with a perfectly manicured garden which would be the envy of a florist.   I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Ferienhaus Apartmanház Zalánki in Eger, Hungary. Eger, a city of 57, 000 people, abounds with historical and natural attractions. A bus ride from Budapest (Stadion Metro station) to Eger takes only two hours. I hated to leave and would love to return.

  The lady who runs the place is very friendly and speaks a bit of German, which helps if you don't know Hungarian. The house is located in 15 minutes of walking to the city center in a very quiet and green neighborhood. There is a place to park the car, too. And a tasty breakfast!
