  Artemis is heaven on Earth. I strongly recommend for lovers and the ones who want peace and a lovely place . About 3km near from beach and Skopelos town by car hire or scooter. Reasons are, simple and nice people with the acknowledge of welcome new customers. Special thanks to Mr. Akis that was all the time very nice with us. If fact this is 5 starts - The owner, his mom and dad friendship, the nice pool with nice sun beds, the location of the buildings in a nice spacious yard, with olive trees far from the street. The cleanliness of all the area, the garden and flowers, the rooms and balcony, the parking space, the wondeful cakes that the owner Mom brought almost every day to our studio.

  We stayed at this lovely hotel as we were travelling around the Greek islands. It is situated at the top of the ring road around town. You can walk there from the harbour, its a bit of a slog on foot,up hill all the way, its a good work out but all of the old town is like this. Very quaint narrow streets, whitewashed. The location is above the City on the Ring Road and good to reach but nevertheless quiet. It is not a problem to park a car on the road but there is a dedicated parking space as well. The rooms with sea view are nice located and offer a scenic view on the city and the harbour. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful.   I really liked the excellent view from the balcony - Hotel manager rang our home in Australia to advise they would pick us up from the airport - how nice is that? Rooms quiet and a bit of a walk to town, though we hired a scooter from nearby and didn't walk.

  Our vacation was off to a lovely start when Michael, owner of the studios, picked us up at the airport, holding up a sign with my name on it! We felt like VIP persons, walking to his car while the rest of the charter flight tourists were getting on the bus. Our host made a quick stop at the supermarket to buy us a free sixpack of water. We chose number 7, a room in two floors and a large balcony overlooking the ocean and the - Owner picked us up from airport which was great. Michael, the owner, spoke good English and was very helpful. Great value one night stay before moving on to Skopelos the following day. Although there were a few steps to the apartment Michael did volunteer to help with the cases.

  We loved everything about this hotel! Rigas hotel lovely and cozy –and Skopelos is a bit of a Paradise on Earth! Our room was recently renovated, so everything is fresh. We had a standard room but George upgraded for us since we were there on our honeymoon. They place a complimentary wine & fruits with wishes. Skopelos is a very quiet and green island and we really enjoyed it. The hotel is not in the center of the port town, but it's not far. They picked us up from the port and even drove us a nice restaurant on the water for dinner and made sure we knew how to get back. It was an easy walk. He helpe
