  Our ferry was came in late at night and the Arhontou staff was happy to meet us after reception closed. We chose Sifnos because it is less touristy than many and we chose the Arhontou because we wanted to stay away from the water (for a change) in a quieter Greek town (Apollonia) and Arhontou was just a short walk down to the charming village. We went to Lazarou Beach (more of a cove - no sand) and had some of the bes - Overall good location althought I can be a bit of a trek into town. Pleasant to see the farms below the hotel. Everything was clean.

  Location fabulous, just a short walk from the beach; also bus stops right outside for access to Apollonia and elsewhere on the island. Staff lovely - and were extremely helpful when I approached them with questions about walking on the island. Breakfast very nice with freshly squeezed orange juice and excellent coffee, yoghurt, cheese, ham etc a... vad folk säger » s well as bread/cake. Hotel set in charming gardens; you literally walk over fallen olives, and the scent of night jasmine when coming back to my roo - The rooms are very nice and comfortable; mosquito protection available also via construction of the balcony doors; nice view to the garden/ pool, very friendly atmosphere, the hospitality; everyone gave always its best support. the fresh orange juice in the morning which seems to become seldom!!! Specially nice staff in the restaurant in the morning.the availability of information where to go, what to do....

  Quiet and friendly environment,ideal for families. The rooms are situated in an olive grove and they are surrounded with colourful flowers and trees. The alley is very traditional and the surroundings give you the feeling of a traditional settlement of Cyclades. The room had its own gardenview balcony where we enjoyed our breakfast peacefully.   Hotel Edem on Platis Giaolos, Sifnos, Greece was exceptional! We were a family of four (children aged 4, 8) and booked a double room for 8 nights.   My girlfriend and I liked everything about our stay at Sifnaika Konakia. Maria, who runs the place, was extremely warm and welcoming. The room had a lovely view of the Kamares bay, olive groves, and the occasional donkey. It was also within easy walking distance of the beach and the bus.   Great location looking across the harbour to the main part of town and right on the water. Our room had a pool which was a great addition, but you can jump in the sea too if you want a swim as there is a ladder and swimming area - the water is absolutely beautifully clear. We found in and it takes a day or two to "get into" the quieter vibe there. We went to Milos too and have - We LOVED our stay at Delfini! The room was beautiful with a comfortable bed and an incredible sea view from our balcony. The owner and his wife were friendly and attentive but not overbearing. The food was fantastic--fresh, locally grown vegetables, local vintage of wine, and additional tastes of Sifnos such as yoghurt and cheese. The hotel is in a quiet location on the edge of town but within easy walking distance of the beach. This is an authentic, charming taste of life in the Greek isles.

  We stayed in the Windmill of the hotel which was excellent and very clean. The breakfast every morning was great with big variety and all local products. The swimming pool was really good and the view from the hotel amazing. Also, the hotel owners were friendly and very hospitable. - The Hotel has a lovely view over the bay of Santorini.

  The owners were very friently and polite, they did everything needed to make us have wonderfull time. The position of Cycledes Beach was the best, just in the middle of Platys Gialos and some meters far from the beach. Appartments were clear and service perfect.The buffet breakfast very good. I will reserve this appartment for the next year. - Very Nice apartment, clean, spacious and with balcony. Friendly host, good good and a free bost trip with the owner. Verry relaxed and pleseant. Superb service, warm and friendly atmosphere, felt like staying at someones home without being too close, very clean and well maintained. Pool area perfect for a last swim before dinner. Our children were so nicely treated by Mosha and her staff/family, they are very happy for the farewellgift they recieved at our departure, thanks again Mosha! - The room was spotless and have a lovely view of the sea and port. The shower was tiny but it was not a real problem. Breakfast fine fine - not a huge selection but what was there was more than enough. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. They drove us down to the port at 11:30 pm for our night ferry back to Athens.
