  My partner and I loved our first 2 nights at Yialasi so much that we booked another 2 nights here at the end of our wonderful holiday touring the stunning Peloponnese. The hotel is in a beautiful setting up a hill overlooking the bay - a joy to wake up to the great view from our balcony. The family that run it are lovely and helpful, the homemad - I liked everything. Good attitude of owners. Enormous breakfast. Orange juice almost directly from the tree. The view. Furniture and climate control and everything else. Atmosphere related to closeness of Epidavros Ancient site. The surroundings may not be the best. Yialasi is like a pearl in the middle of nowhere. If you really have to stay at Epidavros choose Yialasi!

  The rooms were very nice. The staff was very helpful, and the restaraunts were very good. It was within walking distance of the site, but it was a long hill to climb to get back to the hotel. - Probably one of our very best hotel experience in Greece: clean, easy to park, friendly and efficient staff, very good food, very good value for money !

The pebble beach is very clean and at the end of Octob - Modern, clean, comfortable hotel in all respects. There is a good beach right in front of the hotel so actually no need to use the pool which was also nice. We stayed 2 nights and as we were travelling quite a bit during the day (do go to Mystras), we decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant both nights which was very convenient.

  The medieval aura that was surrounding the hotel was truly amazing. At the same time, the feel of luxury and hospitality was there throughout our stay, from the minor details in the room, up to the excellent service. Few points that really blew my mind…A spectacular home-made breakfast made by local stuff. We definitely re - The Mani Peninsula is rural and beautiful and well away from the normal holiday locations.   The owners (Dimitra and Angelica) were very friendly, their hospitality. Villa was in a very good shape, it has a very good position with a large terrace that gives you the possibility to see a superb panorama of the aria (the Palamidi Castle, the gulf, Nafplio, Argos etc.).   The apartments have the best interior design I ever saw in Greece. They are big, we had a room with a queen bed, 2 bathrooms and a huge kitchen / dining rooms with 3 sofas which become quite big single beds. You can order breakfast from a list and they bring it to the apartment the morning after at the time you want, this is great. The place is very quiet and relax - This place is just wonderful! This was the second time that we stayed in the guesthouse and we liked it even better than the first time. Rooms are beautiful with tasteful interiors and very comfortable beds. Rooms well heated. Nice breakfast served in the room (and eaten on the sunny balcony). Extremely friendly and genuinly welcoming staff. Wonderful surroundings and perfect location for visiting Mystras and Sparta. Chromata, one of the best restaurants we have experienced in Greece is nearby.

  Chrysa was so helpful, warm and friendly. Her breakfasts were absolutely delicious! So much homemade food and so good. Small, but lovely outside garden. She even made some special rose jam for us and then presented us with a small jar of it as a parting gift. As others have said, her English isn't fantastic, but it is more than adequate and much, much better than our Greek. We - Chryssa's welcome was incredibly warm and genuine. Her guesthouse is perfectly situated, quiet but within easy reach of the station for catching the wonderful little rack-and-pinion train, and for the tavernas and shops of the town centre. The accommodation is of a very high standard, spotlessly clean and perfectly maintained.   Nicole, our hostess, is a very nice and welcoming person. She promptly attended us in spite of our late arrival. The setting is fabulous, quiet, clean, modern and all in the middle of a wonderful garden.   The Olympion Asty was a fantastic experience! The rooms were sparkling clean every day, the pool was perfect, we were in it all day long every day. And the food! It was excellent, as was the delicious breakfast. The location is beautiful, there is such a great view of Olympia and the parts of the coast. If you happen to drive there from Athens ... vad folk säger » (or near there) the mountainous route is very scenic and not too bad to drive. Definitely talk to the hotel if you want an easier route, we did so on - The hotel has a pretty setting, on top of a hill above Old Olympia. The large swimming pool has great views (but not over Olympia btw) and is a marvellous place to wind down after some serious archaeology. The personnel is very friendly and speaks good English. The rooms are in separate buildings, a bit like a typical US motel, with only ground floor rooms. They are quiet, large and clean.
