  We loved Alcanea Boutique hotel! The room was spacious and almost as big as our entire house with beautiful views over Chania's port. Really friendly, caring and lovely staff. It is a shame we only spend one night. Our daughter had a great time. It was in the middle of Chania's old centre. Everything in walking distance. Absolutely recommended. - Could not have asked for more in a hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful with plenty of great recommendations. The location of the hotel was great, still close to the port but just away from all the noise that comes from the restaurants. The rooms were comfortable and designed individually, a bit like a home away from home. Each room also has a lovely view. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chania.

  Fantastiskt läge i en bergsby.Bra sätt att komma ifrån allt "turistigt" och koppla av, bli en del av det grekiska vardagslivet. Personalstyrkan består av 3 härliga människor,som möter dig med värme och gör allt för att du ska trivas. Etagevåning var mycket större än vi väntade oss,mer ett hus med flera ingångar på olika plan,välutrustad kök,sovrum med öppen - Traditional Village Hospitality at its best! We were planning for a bit of a treat when we booked at Diktyan Villas and we were not to be disappointed. Though the place was a bit tricky to find in this cozy village, once we got to there we discovered the fabulous owners had taken every step to make sure we felt welcome. To start, our kitchen was fully stocked with every conceivable thing you would need to cook your own meals. Moreover, they had even been kind enough to load the freezer with ice - Beautiful accomodation in a fantastic situation .Anatoli means "sunrise" these villas face the south coast and the view out to sea in the morning sunshine is amazing ! Manolis and Maria are friendly and couteous though they do not speak much English. Anatoli is abeautiful village.

  Everything its great at Happy Cretan!!! We were the happiest tourists. The Chef, Mr.Giannis, its the best - he cooked excellent. In every evening he surprised us with a very tasty traditional Greek food. Also, many thanks to Mrs. Manias, Aspa, Dimitris and all the staff, because they managed to do our stay super!   This is a delightful old hotel run by 2 octogenarian sisters who were born in it before it was expanded into a hotel. It was once an Austrian consulate and also a command center for the Nazis in World War II. The location is ideal on the coastal road northeast of town in the Halapa district. The substantial buffet breakfast takes place on the top floor with beautiful sea views. The room was clean - Doma is the kind of hotel where you can imagine your great-grandparents staying on their honeymoon.
