We came to visit Santorini at its last days of tourist season (end of October) and decided to stay in Oia as it's considered the most beautiful town of Santorini, although it's a little further out compare with Fira. We were lucky to stay at Rimida Villas, it located outskirt of Oia, with a view of the whole town, we had seen a great sunset right outside our door one evening. Location, location, location! The hotel is exactly in the right place of
Oia - the most charming part of the town, a few steps away from the
observatory where everybody else will run to to watch the sunset. All
rooms are built like those small caves that are typical of Santorini and

The location is excellent as you can watch the dramatic sunset and has a
very good view of the Caldera. The design of the hotel is very Grecian
so if you want to experience or feel like an ancient Greek, this is the
best place! ;) It's beautiful during nighttime. It's not to far
from the main street where you can have coffee or dine in a very good

Marizan has been the most impressive stay in the decade for me and my wife.
We stayed with the Honeymoon cave type for 2 nights which is spacious and very clean. There are all necessary kitchen equipment.
The hotel locates on the best sunset viewpoint , no need to reserve the seat like the public viewpoint that require to reach there 2-3 hours before sunset.
Georgia and Giannis (Owners) took care us very great, we felt warm like staying at home.
It takes only 10 minutes to the center of Oia.

The location was perfect. It was at the beginning of Oia and was very quiet and private. Though we weren't able to see the sunset from our own balcony, still the view was amazing. Also Katerina was very friendly. Unfortunately when my family stayed at Santorini, there were some electricity problem through out the island (no water supply aswell for few hours) but Katerina was so kind to send us bunch of water bottles to make our stay comfortable. Thanks again Katerina and hope to see u again :)

This was the best place we stayed in on our trip of Greece... it is run by a lovely lady called Pipitsa and her assistant, Yordana. Their warmth and affection made us feel like we had known them forever. We were there for our anniversary and Pipitsa really made it special. We had a most wonderful time at Zoe's Houses. Zak is an incredible host! Santorini is a beautiful place and staying at Zoe's Houses made it even more special. Zak was involved from the beginning of our journey when we got off our airport transfer (arranged by him) up to the end when we had to leave early in the morning. Zak takes very good care of the people renting his place. He sees to it that all their needs are met. We'd love to go back to Santorini and we'll definitely go back to Zoe
