  I loved everything about the Guesthouse. It was on the edge of this small township, in a very quiet setting but it was a couple of minutes walk to the bars, shops and restaurants. The rooms are well designed with flair and artistry, and all was very clean. The owners could not have been more friendly or helpful, indeed I felt like I had made 'new ... vad folk säger » friends' by the time we left! The breakfast was fresh and wholesome and typically Greek as one would hope for. There was a welcome bottle of wine awai - The location is great, close to the center but still a bit aside, great to relax. The owners are very professional, extremely friendly and helpful! The breakfast is great - all with local products and you enjoy it in the perfect setting! The small beach is also very close and easy to reach. The rooms are clean and furnished with very good taste. The owners also run a wine selling place and so you can combine relaxing evenings in a great athmosphere with a perfect wine ! I only can fully recomme

  Delightful studios with kitchenette in a fabulous location overlooking the rock of Monemvasia. Sea view studios at a very reasonable price. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are above a supermarket so very handy for cold drinks and provisions to make a snack in your room. Tea, coffee and marmalade provided. Would definitel - Small to medium sized room but quite adequate. Well equipped. Good bathroom with toiletries. Supply of crackers, jams, butter, milk, tea, coffee and orange juice provided when we arrived. Mosquito machne and tablets provided also. Lovely shady balcony. Towels and bedding changed every other day. Very clean. Friendly owner. Useful tourist info provided.

  We had a very pleasant one-day stay in Ardamis in July 2013 (I truly wish it were longer :) ) It's a great feeling to realize that you are staying within a real (and still "living") fortress, and in a truly old building as well! Just at the edge of Gefira they are within a 5 minute stroll of the centre of the village and the causeway to Monemvasia .   The location is very nice, once you find it. We were two singles who had booked thinking it was a hotel (the website could be clearer) but once we had adjusted to its being a self-catering apartment we enjoyed ourselves a lot. It was very quiet(we were the only guests) and had a lovely view from the balcony.   It is wise not to book a hotel in Monemvassia as prices are rather high there. A better option is to stay in Gefira, the village on the mainland. Aktaion Hotel is just before the bridge which connects Monemvassia with Gefira. Right around the corner is a big parking area where you can park your car for free. The rooms have a small terrace and a blue bathroom ;-) A - We stayed 4 days at this hotel and I can say that was 4 wonderful days of vacation. The staff and owners made ​​us to feel like a family. The hotel's location is ideal, into the isthmus leading to the old town of Monemvasia. The rooms are extremely comfortable and clean, with a wonderful view to the old town and the sea. Thank you all!
