  The location is very nice, once you find it. We were two singles who had booked thinking it was a hotel (the website could be clearer) but once we had adjusted to its being a self-catering apartment we enjoyed ourselves a lot. It was very quiet(we were the only guests) and had a lovely view from the balcony. We had no difficulty in getting - a wonderful place to stay, the Rock of Monemvasia is a very nice view, the beach is nearby, the town is near but not too much (4 Km)... much better than other accomodations in Monemvasia, very peaceful.

  It is wise not to book a hotel in Monemvassia as prices are rather high there. A better option is to stay in Gefira, the village on the mainland. Aktaion Hotel is just before the bridge which connects Monemvassia with Gefira. Right around the corner is a big parking area where you can park your car for free. For a small fee you can hop on the bus... vad folk säger » that brings you to Monemvassia. Aktaion Hotel offers standard rooms for an acceptable price. The rooms have a small terrace and a blue bathroom ;-) A - We stayed 4 days at this hotel and I can say that was 4 wonderful days of vacation. The staff and owners made ​​us to feel like a family. The hotel's location is ideal, into the isthmus leading to the old town of Monemvasia. The rooms are extremely comfortable and clean, with a wonderful view to the old town and the sea. Thank you all!

  The owners were very friendly. When we arrived, we got a glass of fresh orange juice. The room was fantastic, spacious, very clean, good beds, beautiful balcony from where you have a beautifull view at the castle of Monemvasia. We can recommend it to all the people that visit Monemvasia. We come back for sure one day. - Very nice new house.
