  This was our second stay in this hotel - the first one had been 15 years ago and we immediately loved both the hotel and its neighbourhood. When we decided to visit Athens again this year, there was not a doubt for a single moment that we would stay at the Exarchion Hotel again. The hotel has been renovated in the meantime, but its essence remained unchanged – the cosy, relaxed atmosphere which makes you feel very welcome - Very friendly staff. The owner of the hotel gave me a map and told which places worth visiting. Also he provided a lot of helpful information about the city. The rooms are relatively small but cozy. They were cleaned once a day. The towels were also changed on a daily basis. I was very pleased to find 2 teeth brushes and tooth paste in a bathroom. Air Condition system worked properly. Breakfast was good and substantial. Location is very convenient. It takes 20 min from the hotel to Acropolis

  We spent only one night in this hotel, we found the reception staff very kind and helpful expecially for the possibility to check-in by night as it happens. The room was very big and very clean, the air conditioning was work very well (I've been there on September), also free wi-fi is available. The metro station Omonia is about 100 m far from the... vad folk säger » hotel. We also have breakfast and it was good. - liked everything. The friendly staff. At the reception were very helpful when we had problems with the airport. A hotel employee called and struggled with our airline. Very nice that we are so helped. Thank you.

  The Achillion is a good mid-range hotel in a slightly seedy part of Athens. It is fortunately not far from the Omonia and Metaxourghio metros, and an easy walk to the National Archaeological Musum. The double-glazing is effective in shutting out street noise. Service was exceptional, a lightbulb being changed within minutes of my mentioning it. The first night we arrived he gave us the keys and told us we are like a family feel at home. I recomend this Villa to families, couples or a small group of friends.

  Vi var 5 personer och fick ett mycket stort och bra rum (en svit). Läget är bra med Metro utanför dörren och promenadväg tll Arkeologiska museet. Det finns också möjlighet att äta billigt och gott i kvarten runt hotellet, vilket är svårt inne i Plaka. - Hotellet är snyggt och fräscht. Det kändes tryggt och säkert. Det ligger nära T-bana.   A nice view from the balcony on the 4th floor. One of staffs is helpful and friendly. Breakfast is simple with fresh fruits served (apples and oranges). Easily access to other attraction with metro (within 5 min walking distance). - It's cheap with only 200m from the metro and train station.   Staffs are super friendly and helpful all the time. On the last day before we left, we went downstairs to get some food (at about 9 in the night). Staff told us the restaurant were closed but they would like to ask the kitchen if they can make some food for us (from the hotel next to Ariston). Surprisingly, they made it !!!! Recommend for group of friends, couples, families. - the staff is very kind and most welcoming. we realy enjoyed staying there. before booking this hotel we were a little worried about the area. but there we had no problem, and never bumped into any strange people. except for that the real benefit of the hotel is that also it's in the centre of athens, it is lockated just next to a metro station, and it takes no more than 5-7 minutes to go from there to all the main sites of the city.

  The hotel itself is very good. The best points are as follows: 1. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. 2. Clean and comfortable rooms with great bathrooms. 3. Great roof terrace with a view of the Acropolis and a small bar that stays open until midnight. 4. The girl from the reception even made a phonecall for us to see where we could pickup our boat tickets. We had to leave very early but we could still get some breakfast.
