The owner Olga & her husband are a very nice and helpful couple. We hadn't informed them about our arrival details, however just a simple call from us from the ferry port & the gentleman was there to pick us up within 5 minutes!

My friends and I loved the fact that it's not located in the very centre of Mykonos (8-10min by bus), as this could be a bit noisy. However, the bus to the centre is 2 min from the studios and passes every now and again. The place has its own lovely swimming pool area and it's literally two minutes from a quiet beach. The staff is incredibly friendly, they picked us up from the port and recommended us very good places to go in Mykonos. They were super helpful with everything we needed and made

Makis Place was a great find. It's a family-run place. They are very friendly and accommodating. Our mid-morning arrival was not a problem. When we left we were going to walk to Nee Port - they were very willing to drive us in the vanThey always greeted you with a smile.

First we liked the surprise of going around the corner, seeing Makis Place the first time and being delighted with how charming and lovely the hotel is. It's 10 walking to a fine beach and the pool charms you into staying there. The family staff members are all, yes, all delightful as well. The welcome from Anna was amazing! We were picked up from the airport, given a choice of rooms and advice on what to do in the area. They could not have been more lovely and were incredibly keen to help with any questions we had and went out of their way to make sure we had a fabulous holiday.

The owner and his mother were so helpful with anything we needed and fun too. The facilities were excellent and everyone made sure all the guests had everything needed to enjoy their stay, including daily rides to and from town. We stayed only for one night but our experience with Germanos studios was great! Mr Germano was extremely kind and picked us up from the port when we arrived to the island. Later, since we were with our baby daughter in her push chair, he took us to the town and in the evening picked us up again and took us back to the studio. Antonis the bloke who runs this place with his wife Andriani bought our ferry tickets beforehand, picked us up from the airport, then without us asking took us to the ferry port - right good bloke. We had a lovely room with cooking facilities and amazing views, (it was so good we sat and had our tea there instead of going out) it was all right clean and well run.

I can't imagine that you can do better for this price anywhere on Mykonos! I really couldn't offer a criticism. If you want to enjoy the fun and atmosphere of Mykonos Town, be near a lovely beach with a traditional taverna, but not be next to pumping music 24/7 then this is for you!
The rooms are all in self contained mini cottages, with stylish shower suites and lovely fresh decor. There's even several perfect spots to watch the sunset away from the crowds...

As a solo woman traveller I felt very safe here and the fact that they picked me up at the airport and dropped me at the port when I left was a real bonus. Its a 5-10 min walk into the centre which was no problem at night as there were plenty of people around. The girl on reception spoke good english and was very helpful.

It is a little bit out of town but still within walking distance of about 20mins to the old port. They met me at the port and dropped me off again which was great. Good wifi signal and very helpful with getting me acclimatized to the area. There is a market just next door. The room was comfortable.
