  The location of Athos Hotel is perfect. We took the metro from the airport to Syntagma Square, then walked only about three blocks to the hotel. It's close to restaurants, sights and shopping, but on a quieter side street. A big plus was the super-friendly restaurant right across the street, where I could get a half carafe of wine to take to the h... vad folk säger » otel's roof patio and have a drink while looking out at the acropolis. - The Athos is located within walking distance of the Plaka area and the Acropolis as well as the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch...we are walkers but this is easy walking. If you can get a room on the 4th floor you can get a spectacular view of the Parthenon from your window. Either way the view from the roof is just as beautiful.. The shopping streets are close by too, as well as lots of good eating options.

  Location was great for exploring Plaka, and all Athens monuments. It was also quiet. Our room on 3rd floor got Wifi signal, but the Wifi was only supposed to be in common areas. Big plus. Price was good. The first night we arrived late and were given a twin room. We asked if we could change the next morning to a double room, and they moved us stra... vad folk säger » ight away. Check out at 12 was great. - It was a nice hotel, no luxury but ok for staying a couple of days in Athens. The best thing about it, is the location, it was close to every attraction in Athens, just walking distance to Parthenon.

  Yeah, the room was the best of trip, it was better than i excepted for the price, and it was also very nicely decorated. Good location there are, it's so close the Acropolis。 - Excellent value for your money, can't find a better deal for this location. Friendly and accommodating staff.
