The location of Athos Hotel is perfect. We took the metro from the airport to Syntagma Square, then walked only about three blocks to the hotel. The Athos is located within walking distance of the Plaka area and the Acropolis as well as the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch...we are walkers but this is easy walking. If you can get a room on the 4th floor you can get a spectacular view of the Parthenon from your window. Either way the view from the roof is just as beautiful.. The shopping streets are close by too, as well as lots of good eating options.

Location is one of the best in Athens for visiting everything
Staff is very nice and helpful, 24h/day. They even help to store our luggage even when we return from the islands and we had a day full left before the return flight in the evening

Det låg bra till, cntralt med lungt läge - Great facilities for the price, great location, and friendly staff! I was thankful for the air conditioner, cable tv, and great breakfast! - It was close to the train station, clean, had what I needed. The hotel is within 10-15 minutes walking distance of Omonia Metro in an area that feels safe because there are always people around. The staff are friendly and helpful; we were able to leave some luggage in their care while we travelled to a couple of islands. Our double room had a balcony with a stunning Acropolis view. Great value. - Very friend

Rummet var rent, frukosten var helt okej(bröd, juice, te, vatten, god mjuk kaka, giffel), läget lite off centrum, men mycket enkelt att ta sig till tunnelbanestationen metaxughiou (mycket enkelt och snabbt till alla centrala stationer). - En säng att sova i.

This was our second stay at Elizabeth Hotel. Our room (a triple) was spacious and well appointed, with a big modern bathroom. The reception and dining areas are also spacious and airy. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful at all times. I can definately recommend this hotel. -
