  The location in the Plaka is excellent, and the view of the acropolis from the restaurant is spectacular. This is a beautiful hotel, and the prices are very good in view of the location and the quality of the hotel. The staff were professional and helpful, and the services were very good.   The Central Hotel is very well situated in Athens in the Plaka, with a view of the Acropolis from our room, but also within a few short blocks of the main Athens shopping districts. It is about 2 blocks away from major public transportation (which is worth trying as the subways have become museums in their own right due to excavation finds in rec... vad folk säger » ent years). Strolling through the plaka and vendor stalls, you will find yourself next to the ancient agora on one side and rows of tony restaurants - Location: The location is great, just a few blocks from the Syntagma Square and in walking distance to the main attractions. We took x95 from the airport but it stopped pretty far from the square and we walked about 1.5km with 4 luggages! I would recommend taking a metro or ask hotel to book a transfer: €40 one way. Staff: very friendly and helpful. We flew to Santorini after check-out and we could stored the luggages at the hotel for 2 days. Clean. It has free wifi and a roof top bar with a go

  I would recommend the stay in this hotel. We stayed there two times: at the beginning of the vacations when we started from Athens and at the end whenwe flew back home via Athens. There are a lot of advantages: 1). the location is very good, 5 min. walk from metro station, 2 stations from Acropolis, a very good supermarket 2 minutes walk 2). Bathroom is amazing with - It is a fantastic place!!! It's near a huge street where you can pick up a cheap taxi to the center or even take the metro!!!! The staff is amazing, so friendly and very helpful for anything a traveler might need!The breakfast is huge and offers a variety of food even for the picky ones!!!Would definitely stay again when visiting Athen

  The hotel is located in a very quiet area, on top of a little hill, just four blocks from the Sygrou-Fix metro station and the stop of tramway going both to the city centre and the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace, although small, has a wonderful view on the Acropolis and Lycabettus. Breakfast and drinks are serve... vad folk säger » d there. WiFi is free and works well both in the rooms and common areas. Breakfast is good and besides standard food includes also fresh season fruit - The staff were extremely helpful! We required a crib for our baby & we arrived fairly late in the evening, but they made sure to have the baby's cot ready in just 30 minutes. They were very helpful in calling for a cab when we required one as well as helping find restaurants near by. The breakfast was wonderful & the woman who serves it was very nice. The view of the Acropolis from the dining deck was absolutely amazing & really made the hotel worth every penny!
