  Magnificent view of caldera and sunsets, as described. Upon arrival were surprised to have a suite with fridge and cooking facilities instead of only a double room with extra cot as ordered. This was very beneficial as we saved money on breakfasts and enjoyed hospitality on our balcony.   The staff, especially the proprietress, were really helpful friendly and thoughtful. They all spoke good English. We immediately felt at home - among friends. Our room was pleasant, airy and had a view of the sea from its balcony. We made good use of the tiny whitewashed traffic free streets (well apart from the occasional motorbike or mule train) that we accessed from the - Would recommend this hotel. Eva, the hostess is a wonderfully friendly and helpful person. We didn't arrive until midnight, she left us a welcome note and instructions about the key. She went so far as to make us a take-away breakfast when we had to leave to catch the midnight ferry. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is meticulously clean, and the beds are the softest I've experienced in Greece so far. The pool area is as good as any luxury hotel, and the outdoor gardens are lovely.

  The location was absolutely stunning as you would expect if you stay on the Calderra. Right in the heart of Thira. The room which was very clean was also gorgeous and quirky which was brilliant. The owner was extremely helpful and very welcoming. For a small fee he picked us up from the port and took us to the airport.. The hotel was very nice near to the center so we could easily reach our friend's hotel walking. Very nice clean swimming pool and a nice little bar there. The reception staff was very kind and helpfull we hadd all the information we needed. The room was like we saw it in the internet very clean and comfortable.

  We came to this hotel on our honeymoon from the UK and we were definitely not disappointed! The owners were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Upon check in we were advised that we had been upgraded to a suite as we indicated on booking we would be on our honeymoon. The room was spacious and clean. The seating area around the pool was gorgeous, I made particularly good use of the - My mother and I stayed in a suite for a few days during our two week Greece trip. First we loved the room. It was the largest one in Greece, it had the best bathroom in all the islands we stayed on, and it had the most relaxing views. The pool and hammocks are a must for anyone needing relaxation. I absolutely loved our stay. The hotel owners helped us find the perfect sailing cruise which helped to cement our great Grecian vacation! I honestly loved every minute here and will be coming back.

  The hotel is super! The hotel is very well located - a three-minute walk to the cable car and the stairs that lead to the old port. We had family room. Two floors, two bedrooms, large living room. Jacuzzi is in the bathroom. Very nice and comfortable room with great views and a terrace in front of the entrance! A wide variety of drinks in the mini... vad folk säger » bar. Plenty of towels - to use in the room and take to the beach. The staff is very friendly! They help in any issue. Two speak Russian. Two days we - This is a great hotel. Couldn't really ask for anything more. If you truly want to enjoy Santorini and make the most of your time, stay here. We didn't have to worry about finding a mediocre restaurant with a view because we had a 24 hour view right from the comfort of our room. And with a patio you could buy some wine or beer and sit outside as long as you wanted. Not to mention that this isn't a large hotel, so you really feel catered to. Every morning breakfast was brought to us in our room,

All staff there are nice and very helpful, especially Rigas, he is really professional, arranged a every just perfect.   My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights it is a family run business. The owners were very helpful and kept the place very clean. The breakfast was also good. The view was exceptional and the price for the hotel was great considering the two hotels on either side was triple in price they did have more amenities. Fira is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel which was not too bad considering the heat of about 90 - Perfect view. You can see the harbor, the volcano and the island's outline. It's a very private hotel because it's not in the middle of a city: quiet and no crowds around the area. The breakfast was not included (10€...), but we got a room with a kitchen, and we would cook our own breakfast and watch the gorgeous sights. There is also a LIDL supermarket very close if you need it. We also got a car, and the hotel was in a convenient place in the island to visit every spot: Fira, Oia, Akrotiri, P

  The staff were very polite, happy and always willing to help. upon arrival we were upgraded to a superior suite for free and we had an amazing view of the ocean and island. If we had any questions about transport, local attractions and things to do then they would organise everything for us which made our stay so much easier. Pool area is really nice and relaxing and t - Everything was perfect in this hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful and they upgraded our stay to junior suite as they noticed that we were extremely tired after 8 hours trip in the ferry. We got our private swimming pool and jakozi as well. The location was perfect and its just 5 minutes walk to fira city center so don't worry about the location. I will stay in this hotel again if I come again to Santorini
