You can notice that they thought through all the details to make guests more comfortable and the stay more enjoyable.   The hotel was spotless clean, most rooms including ours had an ocean view (not caldera, but other side), comfortable pool, and the room-balcony was very big, probably bigger than the room itself.   First of all I was really glad that the hotel organised for us pick-up from the port, it made our travel to Santorini much more easier.   Staff very really friendly, we enjoyed our stay here. The room was amazing value for money, large with a balcony and nice modern furnishings. He picked us up, gave us a lift which I wasn't sure I will get that service. Gorge gave us all the information to get around. I even plan to go back there again next year. - For the price of the night's stay, I felt like I was staying at the ritz carlton. Everyday, the room was cleaned and my bed was turned down.   John and his staff could not do enough for their guests. Everything about the Galatia Villas was a 10+, with beautifully appointed guest rooms and receptiont area. Each guest room had it's own perfectly tended garden. Guests have free computer use and there was a warm welcome at breakfast every day.We felt so at home and can't give high enough prai... vad folk säger » se for John, his staff, and the Galatia Villas. - Owner was wonderful. He drove to pick us up when we couldn't find the place. The room was huge for European standards, with full dining table and kitchen. There is a private courtyard in which the owner lights votive candles at night so you can enjoy the evening. Note that it is not a view property and you do have to walk up hill 8-10 minutes to town. Excellent value. I recommend it.

  Great atmosphere, it had nice private rooms with air conditioning to camping grounds. Great pool and bar with lovely staff, shop, restaurant all part of the grounds and right in the centre of Fira...   Anemomilos hotel is a very convenient hotel. The room that I stayed at actually included two bedrooms, and a big living room with a kitchen. The toilet also had a jacuzzi in it. Also, because we got the basement apartment we had a big terrace where our friends could meet. But we skipped that and just met all the time by the pool! They were very kind and attentitive, picked us up and dropped us off when we arrived and left, and went out of their way to be helpful. - The room was clean, well-equipped and decorated and had everything we needed at an incredibly good price - including a balcony with a view over the ocean! -The people in Fira in general were the loveliest we have come across in our travels through more than 30 countries! Mario in particular works hard to make sure that guests settle in well and that we have info about where and how to go places including good reasonable places for dinner. Although we missed the pick up at the port (for some reason we were not informed of this), on arrival we got free frappé(greek iced coffee) and homemade wine (which is really good), the owner (sorry i can remember how to spell his name) even sent us to the airport for free at the end.
