Situation. Close to the old town and the main activities. Nice view on the sea and close to the small beach at the end of the street. Don' t expect luxary in this place, it' s more like backpack but really convenient. There is a bar at the groung level so you can have your (nice) breakfast there or have a drink at night. It' s usually busy so a little bit noisy if you want to go to sleep at 8pm. Good experience, I' ll be there again if I' m back in Chania.

Me and my wife (in our early 30ties) stayed in the hotel recently for 8 nights.
The hotel is family run by two very friendly and welcoming brothers who sometimes joined by their father who is also very welcoming. All speak good English with elder brother Antonis being (in my

Fabulous location in the old town, listening to the sea. You are in real Crete here up a narrow road that is a visual delight. Sure the room is not a modern 5 star one but it really is a true Cretan place and entirely comfortable, clean and colourful. The hotel was two minutes walk to the beach and a lot of restaurants. We could walk to the old port area of Chania in under fifteen minutes.
The owner was very helpful in giving advice on what to see and how to get there. There were cooking facilities and a refrigerator in the room. We were always able to find free parking in the street outside. -
