  - the stuff is very friendly, we get the impression that they do their job with passion - the localisation is great: 3min to the central bus station, 1min from the street with shops, 2min from the old town, 5min to the harbor, 15min to the beach - the breakfast was great, a wide choice and everything was very good - good value price/quality - very... vad folk säger » clean and nice rooms - Staff was friendly and helped us with any questions we had. Close to the bus station so convenient as we went to the Samaria gorge the next morning. We left at 7 am and so the staff made sure to have the breakfast ready for us. Really close to old town and the harbour (5 minutes walk). Not a luxury hotel but clean.

  The apartments were lovely, a welcome change from hotels. There was plenty of space, bathroom lovely and cooking hob worked fine. Plenty of parking. Walk into Chania takes about half an hour, and beach only five minutes away. Our ferry to Crete was delayed by more than two hours so we were a bit worried, as the booking info said check-in was only ... vad folk säger » open until 10.30pm. When we called up to explain, they assured us there'd.be someone at the bar until late, and when we were further delayed they stay - We added the half-board option and were spoilt by the chef and restaurant crew. Excellent food with good variations of international cuisine and Greek specialties. The hotel offers a cozy, familiar atmosphere. The location offers quick and easy acess to the major roads if you want to explore the Island by car. Easy to acess the City center of Chania by bus, taxi or car or just to take a walk along the beach.

  I have discovered Chania to be a beautiful city, with old town streets to explore, myriad shops and restaurants around a charming harbour. I have also discovered this to be a jewel of a hotel residing about ten metres away from the harbour front. The Belmondo hotel is small and personal, each room is different, all had character, felt like a rare luxury in the perfect loca - The staff without exception could not do enough to make our stay perfect. Our room was not what I expected and I was told they were fully booked. After 3 nights I checked on letsbookhotel.com and discovered they had a suite available and we were moved. I think it was a misunderstanding and they very kindly did not charge us for the upgrade. I would highly recommend an upgrade to a 'suite' a large room with two sofas. Would recommend very highly for this this price bracket. - recently stayed for a week at the Arocaria Apartments. we booked a room with a view, and it was beautiful. the balcony has a great view looking over the marina. it is located literally 2-3 mins walk from the sandy beach and 15-20mins walk (along the coast) to chania. the rooms are basic, but all that we needed. staff are very friendly, rooms cleaned daily. I would definitely recommend staying here!

  Billy, hotel manager, was an excellent help to all our inquiries. He is accommodating and assisted us when our itinerary changed abruptly.
