  We wanted to stay in a small town as a contrast to the larger cities we had been visiting - this was a great option. The breakfast was the best we'd had in our 2 weeks of travels - so many things to choose from! Excellent value.   This is one of the very nicest hotels I have stayed in in Europe. The staff were polite and helpful, the food great (champagne with breakfast on Sunday!) the facilities outstanding (indoor pool, sauna, steamroom, spa, etc.) and the location was divine: the alpine scenery was straight out of "Heidi".
