  We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at Das Tergernsee and had a wonderful time. The entire reservation was handled professionally and efficiently and we were delighted with the room, menu and decor. The hotel is beautiful, with the most fantastic view of the lake.   We really enjoyed the location in Schwabing a safe and upscale neighborhood just north of downtown Munich. By U-Bahn you're only 6-8 minutes away from all the sights to see. Not only that, you can always enjoy the shopping and nightlife offered along Leopolds Strasse right in Schwabing. Having traveled extensively for work and pleasure, I can confidently say that Hotel Biederstein, though simple, is a wonderful place. Great staff who made us feel very welcome. All of the staff made sure that we were most comfortable, helped us with our logistical questions, and ensured that we had the best possible experience. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. They even upgraded us to a suite, simple as it is, with great views and outside space.
