As the name of the hotel implies, we were very happy with this spot. Even the drive from Fussen was amazing (15 min.). We were awestruck by the beautiful mountains, which came right up to the back door of the hotel with easy access to hiking trails. An absolute 10/10. Everything was more than perfect.The apartment was extremely clean and well equipped.Detail to not a single thing was missed out. The owner was really friendly, breakfast was nice. I cannot fault this place. We will be going back in summer too. Loved it!!

This hotel is centraly located in the heart of Oberammergau's
village center. It is within waling distance of many places to shop and
eat. We picked this hotel due to the great reviews and the location of
the town for castle visiting. Breakfast is included and is good. Cereal,
eggs, breads, jams, and fruits are typical. Our room was on the corner
of the first floor with a balcony. It was one of the bigger rooms with
two beds. The bathroom was remodeled and very nice.

I would recommend this family run hotel to anyone travelling to the Czech Republic. We found it an absolute delight, with good hosts and wonderful food. It has good access to the motorway.

Nice little family hotel with style. Rooms are very nice in Bavarian style, and the food in restaurant is very good ( germ knodel mit mohnzucker ) specialy. - Great welcome, very friendly and helpful personnel, big and nice rooms. Highly recommended.

The Fuchsmuhle is down a "very steep cliff" - this is no joke
and although my husband and I (30 years old) thought this was a fun
adventure and had no problems my parents and his (60 years old) had some
issues getting up and down - although they did it! We only met one staff
member and she was incredibly nice throughout out stay. The rooms are
basic and very clean. The breakfast is nice although a bit expensive.

Straight shot to the city center, about a 15-20 walk or there is access to the transportatiom system about 5-10 min walk that will take you to the city center, museums, etc real quick.
The staff was so helpful and was able to direct me anywhere I needed to go real easily!

The location is great, just across the train/bus station, so you will be thankful that you don't need to drag luggage up to the hills where most of the other hotels locate. The price (80 euro for a double room one night) is OK considering the taxi fare up to the hills saved. The room is very clean, bed is nice, though the rooms in annex building do not have elevators and shower/restroom a bit small yet very clean. The breakfast buffet is good. I loved the fresh mint leaves they provided for
