  This was a very nice "home base" for exploring the Bavarian countryside. We stayed here for 3 nights as a "vacation from our vacation", and it was wonderful to get away from all of the umbrella-toting tour group guides.

  I enjoyed everything about the hotel from the friendliness of the owner/staff to the attention to detail on making their guest comfortable. The only comment I would make is that the wireless internet was not accessible from the rear building where my room was located. I had to come down to the lobby to do some work which was a little inconvienent... vad folk säger » . - Great 10 day stay at Hotel Post. Spent lots of evenings at the "kitchen table" well taken care of by the staff. Clean, comfortable, private, good location, met every need. Highly recommended.

  We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at Das Tergernsee and had a wonderful time. The entire reservation was handled professionally and efficiently and we were delighted with the room, menu and decor. The hotel is beautiful, with the most fantastic view of the lake.   Nice spacious room with a sunny terrace facing mountains and the sunbathing lawn; the room was very quiet, although it was immediately near the covered swimming pool. Great sauna facilities, and not very busy in August. The WiFi is reasonably fast. The breakfast is one of the best we had lately, and we travelled a lot this summer. The lady who served us remembered our preference for coffee from the first morning and - Everything was OK. Thank you. The hotel has its own SPA and sport center. Plus- Aquaria nearby and golf center not so far. Excellent meal, frendly and helpfull stuff, comfortable room. And there are a lot of activities around Oberstaufen. Mountains, waterfalls etc...

  The hotel is located at the end of a long winding road next to a small church. Rooms are surprisingly modern. Be sure to get a room with a balcony to take advantage of the vistas. The food is excellent. Many bicyclists make the climb for a beer or a slice of cake. Be sure to walk the hiking trail to the edge of the ridge for a "Sound of Music... vad folk säger » " moment. Young guy on the desk went out of his way to reorganise rooms for us when we arrived really early in morning from the night train so we could check in straight away (at 8am) - even offered us breakfast there and then.   Good location. near the railway staton, and also next to a supermarket. The room was large, nice, well equiped, and with a balcony. The quality of the breakfast was good.
