  I enjoyed everything about the hotel from the friendliness of the owner/staff to the attention to detail on making their guest comfortable. The only comment I would make is that the wireless internet was not accessible from the rear building where my room was located.   The hotel is about 100 m from the train station and bus stop. Close to the old town, a supermarket, shops and restaurants. Our room was modern and big enough for 2 people. The room was very clean, the bathroom, as well.   At all points the staff members were courteous, cheerful and helpful. The room was ideal for our needs. When we thought we had lost an item, the staff took extra care to look for it and keep us informed (we found it later packed in a different case).   The rooms were very big and clean! The view from the balcony with flowers, was great: the clear lake below (in which we swum several times) and the mountains behind it! The hotel was between the green hills, we made nice walks: saw cows, sheep, horses, lovely farms. different kind of birds of prey, dears and even a ermine! We discovered a graveyar... vad folk säger » d out of the 14. century for victims of the plague. The food in the hotel was so lovely, that we used seven meals, every evening! The breakfast was f - The staff was very friendly. We had reserved two one-bed rooms, and were upgraded to lovely spacious rooms with incredible views of the castles. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone. I would love to come back to see the new facilities as well, although I hope it is as quaint as this older building is!

  Our rooms were as clean and comfortable as any we have stayed in. Thestaff was wonderful, very accomodating. The resturant was excellent,including the service. The location was a little ways from munich butthe train was only a short walk from the hotel. Would definitely staythere again. - value for money and friendly staff

  We stayed for a week in a one bedroom apartment which was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The owners are lovely and very helpful. The location may be a little far from the centre of town for some people but was fine for us. There is a handy supermarket at the end of the street, next to the train station, about 10 mi... vad folk säger » nutes walk. We loved staying here. - We spend each year one or two times holiday in Germany. But this apartment was the best accommodation what we ever have in this country. We had apartment 130 m2, with two bedrooms. Apartment was very very beautiful and equipped with a focus to details. Owners were very friendly pleasant. Also Mittenwald and surroundings was beautiful. We plan to return there also next year.
