  Very friendly and helpful staff, small and calm hotel in the near of Koeln Messe and -important- the Lanxess Arena. I stayed there because of the IIHF Icehockey World Championship in Germany and I have to say that I enjoyed the time absolutely.   The hotel is very clean and located right next to the central train station. The staff is very friendly. The room is quite big. Reasonable price.   We had a great stay from the very start. At check in the lady gave us loads of information about the best Christmas markets and was really welcoming. The apartment itself was clean and a really decent size. It's location was the best thing; virtually at the entrance the the Alte Market Christmas Market and the huge ice rink on Heumarkt.
