  The room was beautiful and spacious, impecably clean. Breakfast was great. A step up from standard german hotel breakfast but without anything hot. Staff were friendly especially with our kids. Common cold drink freezer with local beer including smoked (plus chocolate and nuts, all for a resonable price). Very close to downtown but if needed there... vad folk säger » are bus stops not far. After hour checkin was very simple but make sure you get the instuction from the hotel on where to go after 7pm to get in. An - The staff is very friendly and breakfast is well worth the cost. The hotel is exceptionally bright and clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed. Felt luxurious at a fairly bargain price. Bamberg is a magical city! Skip Rothenberg and visit Bamberg instead. You won't be disappointed!
