  Tyst, nära köpscentrum - quietness, human size - even though it wa a low budget hotel, it did not feel "cheap", the bed was good, the breakfast as well

  The location of Aux Armes de Champagne was perfect for a stop-over on our drive back from Provence to the Channel tunnel. It is situated next to a beautiful Cathedral which dominates this little village. The food was excellent but the restaurant gets very booked up at the weekend and we were lucky to get a cancellation. Do reserve a table in advan... vad folk säger » ce as there is nowhere else to eat in l'Epine. - Comfortable room, huge bed, view to the Basilica Notre Dame l'Epine, attractive garden area, upstairs lounge with free wifi, nice meal, wine list on ipad was a first and may challenge some older guests but easy to use and we picked a fantastic Montangy Premier Cru, 55 euros. There is a mini/crazy golf to the rear although we sadly didn't have time to whizz round it.
