  Isabelle, the owner, made us feel very welcome on our arrival. The hotel is very homely and a relaxing place to be. Close to many Chateau and other towns in the area.   A the end of a long journey being met by Christophe and ushered to the lovely swimming pool to cool off was wonderful. The chateau was beautiful in large gardens which were child friendly and boisterous boys were not curtailed in noisy and extensive games of hide and seek. We were able to truly relax as the children were off exploring while we ate b - We were only booked in overnight on our way to Calais from Carcassonne. We arrived after a 7 hour drive so a dip in the outdoor heated pool was a welcome and rejuvenating experience. The house is very romantic and charming and set in its own grounds so it is perfectly child friendly. Our hosts were extremely friendly and spoke perfect English.   Excellent hotel. Newly refurbished. Very clean and tidy room with a comfortable bed. The staff were very helpful though some did not speak English too well. The restaurant was very good though the menu selection was not large and it did not appear to have changed on our second day (we ate out that day anyway).
