The owners were exceptional, they went out of their way to be helpful, and we had a wonderful stay. The bathroom was large in a beautifully redone old city center home. Close to the train station.

It is so beautiful, harmony and peaceful. It was really difficult to leave.
The house was renovated beautifully, while keeping it very authentic.
The rooms and public area are very clean and cosy.
The breakfast is excellent, it is very fresh and tasty.

Anne runs one of the most comfortable and friendly inns we've ever enjoyed. We've traveled extensively, and it's hard to find a place that makes you feel at home even as you enjoy the luxury of being on vacation. Very quiet location in the countryside, but very close to Chinon. Excellent place to use as base to explore the main wine appellations in the area.

Delphine was a really lovely hostess. Very genuine and easy going. Fantastic location if a quiet retreat is what you are after. A car is a must. Room was immaculate with beautiful furniture and the bathroom was fabulous. Fantastic pool to relax by surrounded by lovely gardens, birdsong, a donkey and a horse...and of course the resident doggy! -

I cannot praise this hotel highly enough. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful, the room well appointed if a bit on the small side, the hotel itself charming, and the food, though a trifle expensive, was amazing and beautifully served. Our dog was not only tolerated but allowed to feel equally at home in room, lounge and restaurant. This

The staff were attentive, friendly, helpful and spoke excellent english. Unfortunately I only had time to have 1 dinner at the restaurant and it was magnificent - worthy of the visit by itself. The breakfasts were sumptuous too, especially the option of a cooked breakfast rather than the staples of bread, meats and cheese.

We had a garden view room which was wonderful with a comfy canopy bed. Yes it would be nice to have tea/coffee facilities in room (see other reports), but it's available on room service and they were happy to provide us with a kettle. The restaurant is wonderful with a good menu

Just returned from a wonderful stay at this delightful Logis, located in beautiful countryside yet within ten minutes of towns and chateaux. The garden rooms are spacious and comfortable and the pool and tennis court immaculately maintained. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Excellent food is served in a very inviting room and I'm already looking forward to returning.

Hotel is situated in a quite area on the opposite side of the river to the town. A short walk across the bridge and your are in the centre. The rooms were good and we had a ground floor room which opened onto a small area with outside seating which was great as it was hot. No air con but as it was quiet we could leave window open.

The WiFi was good - not super fast but good enough to check emails / browse the web.

The onsite parking was a bonus and being able to park right outside your room was good.

We had a fantastic time at La Closerie Saint Vincent. Marie and her family were incredibly friendly and welcoming. She helped us by making phone calls to our car rental and hot air ballooning companies, and she made wonderful breakfasts with homemade jam from her own fruit trees. I loved the old house which has beautifully renovated as a B&B with wonderful decor and every comfort. The breakfast was excellent with fresh, home cooked jams and cakes and the location perfect for a trip to the chateaus of the Loire Valley. Marie, the host, could not have been more helpful with her suggestions about places to visit. I would highly recommend the B&B for a perfenct stay in the Loire Valley.
