The owners were exceptional, they went out of their way to be helpful, and we had a wonderful stay. The bathroom was large in a beautifully redone old city center home. Close to the train station.

The family is awesome and the place is amazing!!!
It is so beautiful, harmony and peaceful. It was really difficult to leave.
The house was renovated beautifully, while keeping it very authentic.
The rooms and public area are very clean and cosy.
The breakfast is excellent, it is very fresh and tasty.

This was a delightful B&B. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was enormous. The bathroom was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have stayed in, with a large bath in which to luxuriate. We also enjoyed the town. Very relaxed and with many dining options to choose from. An ideal place as a base to explore the Loire Valley and it's many Chateaus. Our host Sylvie was a delight. Extremely helpful and obliging , with a wonderful bubbly personality. Would rate this as the best B & B we h

Anne runs one of the most comfortable and friendly inns we've ever enjoyed. Very quiet location in the countryside, but very close to Chinon. Excellent place to use as base to explore the main wine appellations in the area.

This is a very special place. Sleeping in a well-appointed cave was unusual, charming, comfortable and (welcome during a heatwave) cool. Beautiful bijou-garden setting, with interior design reflecting artistic flair of Alain, the very obliging and helpful host, who also served a superb breakfast. We would have disliked carrying our bags back up to the car parking space higher up the cliff, had not the Alain volunteered to do it for us. This place is amazing - the rooms are luxurious (we especially loved the Victoria room, with its massive bathroom and shower), Alain is the most genial and interesting host. Breakfast is full of homemade treats - and good coffee!
This is essentially a family home/estate which has been lovingly restored.
The area and the town of Azay-le-Rideau are very beautiful, and convenient for visting wine producers too.

The women conscierges were wonderful, allowing us to relax in France andpractice our flawed French. We were able to picnic poolside after hours,just relax in a beautiful house. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful, the room well appointed if a bit on the small side, the hotel itself charming, and the food, though a trifle expensive, was amazing and beautifully served.
