  Polite, pleasant and helpful staff. Room clean, well equipped except for lack of fridge and ours had a lovely balcony, ideal for soaking up the evening sun! Comfortable bed! Very little road noise. Not able to comment on restaurant as it was closed that evening. Breakfast had a superb choice of breads and cakes, plus cold meats, cheeses, cereals... vad folk säger » , as well as some hot food. Thoroughly recommend this hotel. - Good stopping off venue between N Italy and Channel Tunnel. Beautiful furnishing, unusual decor. Charming and elegant ambience. Very friendly patron and great breakfast. Easy walk into village where we found a great restaurant.

  Spacious and clean family room, comfortable double bed and two single beds. Free wifi, good sized pool. Restaurant on site had good value children's meals (7€). The drinks were pricey (as expected in France) but the set 3 course meal for 38€ was relatively good value. It was very pleasant eating on the terrace in the evening, we watched a fox and ... vad folk säger » deer in the adjacent field. The staff were extremely friendly. We used this hotel for one night to break up a journey across Europe. - Location,style of hotel and excellent staff. The restaurant, although away from the hotel was simply fantastic

Cosy room (very calm, in spite of the parking across the street) and very nice bathroom, with a special touch one doesn't find very often in other hotels.   L'ami Fritz was a gem. Ottrott is a strategically located village for exploring the Alsace Wine Route as well as the Vosges Mountains. The hotel was charming, rooms comfortable and quiet, hotel staff very friendly, and the hotel owner chef offers wonderful gourmet dinners, Breakfast is served in a delightful room and is excellent.   We booked the connecting double/triple rooms. It was absolutely perfect for our family! My husband and I took the double and our 3 boys had the triple. The hotel's location is great! There is a tram stop about 200m from hotel, but we didn't need it. Everything can be walked to. There was one gentleman at reception that was absolutely, completely a... vad folk säger » mazing. I wish I knew his name because he was so incredibly helpful and friendly. - There was a slight mix up with our reservation, but the staff went over and above to resolve the issue, and even gave us an upgrade "for all the troubles." They were very pleasant and helped us plan our day. The location was perfect, right near the river, walking distance to all kinds of restaurants and tourist attraction. Breakfast was very good.
