  Beautiful location set in the minervois wine growing region. The village was of a genuine rustic southern France character, Debbie and Georges very freindly and helpful hosts and the clean, refreshing swimming pool wonderful after a hot day of sight-seeing. Great castle view from 2rd floor, 2 bedrooms, easily suitable not only for 5-6, but for 8 persons to stay in comfort. Washing machine and electric dryer.   the suite was great, a good size and the huge bath tub and wet room were lovely. the hotel gardens are very classy and the location next to the entrance to the walled city was perfect to stroll to.   The first thing you notice when you arrive at the Clarion Suites-Ile de Gua, is how quiet and peaceful the area is. The hotel staff was very helpful and assured us we were not too late for dinner. When we entered our room, what a delightful surprise, it was very large, with a jacuzzi, a wonderful work area, and a large bench for your suitcase. Rather than curtains, there are wooden - Lovely, well-designed hotel in a tranquil setting with very accommodating staff. The rooms are well-equipped, roomy, and extremely comfortable with great balconies. The Brasserie Flo attached in the old mill is very good quality food with excellent service and superb ambiance. The sound of the water flowing by and the location next to the Canal du Robine is very enchanting, with a very pleasant,15 minute walk to lovely downtown Norbonne.   The hotel was in an excellent and beautiful location, literally at the bottom of the hill at the entrance to the castle. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and they all spoke great English. My boyfriend and I (we are both 24yrs old) visited the hotel spa during our stay for a back massage which was lovely - I highly recommend.   We love to stay in this apartment as the room is spacious with many kitchen equipments (except water boiler). My dad could take care of himself with cooking tools while my mom and I were not around. It was pretty big the apartment for my famility to stay (couple + 1yr old baby + 3 yrs. old child). The location was perfect. Very close to the castle. The access is very good to go walking.   The staff were very helpful, the room was great value for money, big bathroom, tv, very clean, decent beds. The restaurant was fine, food good.
