Residential area, very safe. Comfy house, complete kitchen stuffs for daily cooking, good cable and wifi access. Vidal is very sweet. He provided us with all the info we need to roam around the city. He was very accomodating and he is willing to extend just to make your stay the best. Good cost of money!!!!

  The hotel is located just 150m from metropoint Porte de Vincennes line 1 (zone1). Parking in the street is free from friday 19h till mon 09h. Parking Picpus (neer metropoint Belair/Picpus) is about 500mtrs from the hotel. The room was small, only a bed, tv and closet, but that's ok for just a weekend.   I did not expect much from this hotel when I booked as I just needed a place close to Gare de L'est and Gare du Nord so that would be convenient for me to catch the trains to Strasbourg and Antwerp.   We arrived very early and was unable to check in but we were able to check in room early once ready about 2 hours early. Hotel staff pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable.   I particularly liked two members of the staff - one worked on reception and was called Nicolas and the other was the chambermaid. Nicolas had a particularly warm and welcoming demeanor as well as being very helpful. Rooms had been updated The hotel is being updated and work is happening on a daily basis - Sign at reception apologies in advance for any noise - Construction work is done between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm - Did not effect our stay.
