  Great budget family run hotel with fabulous gourmet restaurant.Good location within walking distance to the center of Amboise. We stayed not in the main building but in separate cottage facing beautiful old garden. The staff was very helpful (the owner and his wife are always at the front desk). The hotel was attractive and stylishly decorated and the room was charming. There is a delightful garden area and the meals at the restaurant were exceptional as was obvious from the locals who also were dining there. We had such a good time and would love to go back.

  We had a fantastic time at La Closerie Saint Vincent. Marie and her family were incredibly friendly and welcoming. She helped us by making phone calls to our car rental and hot air ballooning companies, and she made wonderful breakfasts with homemade jam from her own fruit trees. You won't be disappointed! - I loved the old house which has beautifully renovated as a B&B with wonderful decor and every comfort. The breakfast was excellent with fresh, home cooked jams and cakes and the location perfect for a trip to the chateaus of the Loire Valley. Marie, the host, could not have been more helpful with her suggestions about places to visit. I would highly recommend the B&B for a perfenct stay in the Loire Valley.

  Stayed in room 14 which is a an upgrade room. Renovations were recently done and I would imagine we were one of the first few to stay in this room. The room was very large (bigger than US hotel rooms for sure) with a queen bed and two leather chairs along with a desk and a bureau (and TV). All the amenities provided.   Wow!! The property is next to the river Loire and easy to find. On arrival we were met by the lovely friendly couple who own the Chambres dHotes working on their part of the caves. You feel like you are staying at a friend's home. The yard is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine. You can bring a picnic with you. We were able to use the refrigerator. There is a large TV and leather sofa in the common area. The rooms are cozy and well decorated. The shower is nice also. The breakfast was good. Convienient location for seeing Amboise and nearby chateaux.

Breakfast of orange juice, coffee or tea, and wonderful fresh bread and croissants with butter and jam is served in the restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful. A great bed and breakfast find. - I recently stayed in this lovely guest house for a few days and I really enjoyed staying there. The staff and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was so quiet and yet right in the middle of Amboise! Perfect location. Breakfast was good and the restaurant below the rooms served very tasty Italian food. I would definitely go back there!

Nic - First of all, I have to say the welcome we received from Christelle was exceptional. The room we stayed in was stunning, and the photos we'd seen beforehand absolutely did not do it justice.
