  Rent och fint, tyst och bra service. - It turns out the General Hotel was overbooked, so they rebooked me into another hotel, member of the same chain, Le Quartier Bastille. The room was (for Paris and this price point) spacious and clean, the amenities fine. The staff was very courteous and helpful.   Excellent location, Marais is such a lively and vibrant Place. Hotel was more than comfortable, very modern and great design..friendly staff, relatively quiet for saturday night im Paris..   I like the location of the hotel. It is very close to Gare du Nord and attractions of the city.Staff was very friendly and helpful.   Originally I booked two rooms for two nights. Upon arrival both the rooms were upgraded. Since my friends had to stay a few more nights in one the rooms, they were let to use the upgraded room during their whole stay. Huge respect to the staff helping my friend during their stay.   The location is more than ok since it is found not far from a metro station. It is definately clean. Breakfast is excellent in terms of quality. It certainly consists of an adequate variety and i can not see why should someone complain about it.   A big surprise in Paris ! Quite well located just in front of the Gare de l'Est, the Hotel offers clean and well-designed bedrooms. Although it is located in a busy street, the silence inside the room is remarkable. I had the chance to get a suite for a relative cheap price (86 €) but I may think that the standard rooms may be a bit small... Very comfortable bed and a really modern and clean room. The location is great, we walked to most of the places we went to and you can get right down to the quarter Latin in about 40mins. If you prefer not to walk gare d est tube is about 30 seconds away from the hotel door. I would definitely use this hotel again.
