  Very welcoming and willing to accommodate a group of 14 high school students and two teachers. We arrived late morning and we were able to leave our cases in our rooms even though they had not been completely prepared at that time. The beds were very comfortable with crisp white linens. We really appreciated having someone on duty all night at ... vad folk säger » the front desk. - right next to the metro station. in the middle of a busy area. lots of bars and restaurants nearby. the room was fine. the staff was helpful. we reached the hotel a few hours before out check in time but the staff accommodated us.

  Great place to stay, breakfast really good and plenty of it. Very accommodating for family's. Lots of hot water and room/whole building very warm. Area very close to Paris Nord 10euro taxi ride or 15 min walk. Metro in Paris not very kind to strollers if traveling make sure you take at 'quicksmart' or small stroller. 15 min walk to Notre Dame, als... vad folk säger » o 2 playgrounds within 5-10 mins walk. - Location was good for our purposes with easy access to the Metro and train stations. I very much appreciated the tiny balcony with the view of Montmartre - especially at night. The staff were cordial and helpful.

  Excellent hotel! Staff is very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and very clean. Location is very good. - Wonderful concierge. Excellent location to the metro and buses. Everyoneexceptionally friendly to the point of being almost neighborly!

  Hotel is close to metro. There is a small supermarket at the corner of the street. Pubs, Macdonalds etc., are nearby.   Mycket bra läge, mycket trevlig personal, rent, fräscht, personligt hotell, I loved it! - The reviews of it were right - the rooms are a little small but theyare very well maintained and the location is fantastic.   This was a wonderful hotel, convenient location, for our family and our recent visit to Paris. It is a small hotel and unassuming. It is not for people looking for a luxurious facility, but it was clean and the room was rather large (see below) and we enjoyed our stay and would happily return. The staff was polite, welcoming, helpful and responsiv... vad folk säger » e to any requests we had. We arrived early, before the designated check in time. While dropping off our luggage and making plans for our day, our room - I loved this little hotel! It is in a fantastic convenient location. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the staff was extremely accommodating. It will be my hotel of choice next time I'm in Paris (in fact, I almost hesitate to give it such a good review in fear that I will find it booked when I'm next looking to go!). Very much looking forward to returning. Thank you!

  This hotel gives you exactly what you pay for. If you want to spend a lot of your holiday in your hotel room, I would not recommend it. However, if it is a place to rest your head on a budget, then it is perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful and are happy to communicate in English.   Rent och fint, tyst och bra service. - It turns out the General Hotel was overbooked, so they rebooked me into another hotel, member of the same chain, Le Quartier Bastille. The room was (for Paris and this price point) spacious and clean, the amenities fine. The staff was very courteous and helpful.   Very nice hotel. Nicely decorated room, comfortable bed, delicate bathroom, friendly staff. We had our baby with us, and the hotel offered a baby cot free of charge. Also, the location is great. Just around the corner you have Place de la Republique with several good places to have breakfast / brunch. Our favourite was Café de la Republique. Also,... vad folk säger » only 10-15 mins walking distance to the shopping and bar/cafe area in Le Marais. We even walked 25-30 mins to Montmartre. I.e. this is a good locatio - The staff were really helpful and were happy to put our stroller in the cloak room each night so we didn't have to struggle with it in the tiny elevator. Also we had left a small item behind and they were happy to post it back to us. The rooms are small, but it was enough for our little 18 month old to roam around and stretch his legs.   Fantastic apartment, the bathroom had a large walk-in shower, there was a separate kitchen/diner, bedroom and lounge with a double sofa bed so lots of space to put the kids to bed and settle down.   The hotel is great because it is friendly and clean and our room had a great view of the roof tops. La Marais is a very interesting and atmospheric location. It is easy to access the Seine and other places of interest. We especially enjoyed the Jewish quarter and the falafels.
