The receptionists were very helpful when I had a problem with my mobile and rang the number I needed for me. They even put up with my bad French! Staff were very friendly. Room comfortable. Shower excellent. Only 10 mins walk from centre of Lyon. Free secure parking. - Very, very impressed that the rooms were not smokey as French hotelshave been in the past. Everything very clean. They really know what non-smoking means. This was a great place to get to see the sights, markets old Lyon.
Plenty of small boulangerie and other shops to buy food items to
prepare - (we booked a suite) instead of paying 10e for breakfast in
the ding room. There is a large internationally styled shopping
centre, (Confluence)including a supermarket and restaurants just one
tram stop away

station with trains to other parts of France and Europe. It was
however quiet at night. -
The hotel is conveniently located in the Confluence neighbourhood, perfect if you access Lyon by car from south. Parking is easy to find outside the hotel and they also have a garage. Staff is wonderful and eager to help. Ophelie at check-in was kind enough to help us choosing the room. Breakfast was good and not expensive. Position for sightseeing is great, if you don't feel like driving there is a subway station just 5 minutes from the hotel. Will recommend it to anyone going to Lyon.

The staff were very friendly and were happy to help in any way possible. The studio apartment had a TV, phone, WiFi and cooking facilities, which was perfect for myself. A continental buffet was also included in the price. The apartment was located 5 minutes away from the metro and was relatively easy to find.

Nice room, very small for small amount of money, everything was fair... - Cheap, clean and centrally located, it offered good value for money. The facilites are very basic, really just a bed and bathroom. Just fine for us but mightn't suit people who wanted to spend time in their hotel.

The hotel is excellent, the rooms were big, very clean, looked new and
had a very nice bathroom (and even a decent size refrigerator). Our room
had a flat-screen tv that was ok (maybe a bit small) but since we barely
used it, it did not bother us. The hotel has free Wifi both in the room

The Lodge opened for business a few months ago. The layout and the available facilities are all well planned and thought through. Though not flashy, everything one needs are there and functional. The staffs are excellent, courteous and most helpful in every aspect. There are ample free parking on the street next to the Lodge. I will definitely recommend the lodge to anyone so does not want to pay for the extra pampering of a five star hotel and yet. Great value for money!

It fits the bill when considering its one of the more cost effective options in Lyon. We booked last minute despite some negative reviews and were generally satisfied with the accommodation. First, the location is great. Very easy to find. Second, the hotel is very clean. It's a comfortable environment to have a good rest. Third, staff in hotel are friendly. They gave us many useful information for wandering in Lyon. Fourth, the condition in the room is perfect. Anyway, we were satisfied.
