This was a great place to get to see the sights, markets old Lyon.
Plenty of small boulangerie and other shops to buy food items to
prepare - (we booked a suite) instead of paying 10e for breakfast in
the ding room. There is a large internationally styled shopping
centre, (Confluence)including a supermarket and restaurants just one
tram stop away

station with trains to other parts of France and Europe. It was
however quiet at night. -
The hotel is conveniently located in the Confluence neighbourhood, perfect if you access Lyon by car from south. Parking is easy to find outside the hotel and they also have a garage. Staff is wonderful and eager to help. Ophelie at check-in was kind enough to help us choosing the room. Breakfast was good and not expensive. Position for sightseeing is great, if you don't feel like driving there is a subway station just 5 minutes from the hotel. Will recommend it to anyone going to Lyon.

This is NOT a hotel, but long-term student/studio accommodation on a big developing Campus site, surrounded by buildings under construction, in other words, on an active building-site.

The staff were very friendly and were happy to help in any way possible. The studio apartment had a TV, phone, WiFi and cooking facilities, which was perfect for myself. A continental buffet was also included in the price. The apartment was located 5 minutes away from the metro and was relatively easy to find.

The hotel is excellent, the rooms were big, very clean, looked new and
had a very nice bathroom (and even a decent size refrigerator). Our room
had a flat-screen tv that was ok (maybe a bit small) but since we barely
used it, it did not bother us. The hotel has free Wifi both in the room
and in the lobby with speed that was more than adequate for

The Lodge opened for business a few months ago. The layout and the available facilities are all well planned and thought through. Though not flashy, everything one needs are there and functional. The staffs are excellent, courteous and most helpful in every aspect. There are ample free parking on the street next to the Lodge. I will definitely recommend the lodge to anyone so does not want to pay for the extra pampering of a five star hotel and yet. Great value for money!

Nice big room with kitchen. Reasonabe parking fee (3 Euros/night). Only around 50m from Metro station (Place Jean Jaures). 'Simply' supermarket (mini Auchan?) just across the street to fill up your kitchen..:-). So-so breakfast (6.5 Euro/person, but hey, you have kitchen in your room to fix your breakfast)... Easily reached from the airport via the Rhone Express tram, with only one change, to the metro at Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie, then exit the metro at Ampère station, which is 150 m from the hotel. was looking from the window for a ros-bif with a suitcase (the résidence
