  Lovely little hotel, very cosy. The rooms we were given were big and confortable, with a pretty romatic decoration. One of the rooms had a balcony with a view to the lake, a pleasant place to spend part of a sunny afternoon. The hotel location is nice and also convenient, between the market place and the fortress. We were very happy with our stay.... vad folk säger » - =the staff was extremely helpful!! I arrived much earlier and they let me check in, however, had to change the room which was a minus, but it's not the hotel's fault. As well, they served breakfast 30 min earlier (6:30am) on my request due to early departure. And the breakfast was great! =location is 50m away from the lakeshore

  Our request for higher floors was fulfilled and we got upgraded to a room with sauna. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good as well. We will stay there again if we have a chance to visit Kuopio again. - very good beds, very kind girl at reception, walked with us outside to show proper place for parking.

  the hotel was right in the middle of kuppio in the center of town. many shops nearby. the wifi connection was ok, the shower and the room were very big including the huge tv in our room! - The staff were very friendly and professional, the food at the restaurant was delicious, and the studio room was very comfortable.

  Very child-friendly hotel: staff noticed my child and gave some games/drawing stuff when cheked-in. Sauna/pool area nice and big pool. Few sports equipments next to the pool. Daily magazines available everywhere. Very friendly staff everywhere. High quality breakfast with a lot of variety + local food/drinks. Quiet rooms. - Nice comfortable hotel with excellent location to the train station and an easy enjoyable walk to the city center and Visitors Center where there is a excellent small museum about the history of the area. Just on the edge of Joensuu, 10-minute ride on bus 17, there is a well preserved WW2 "Bunker Museum" that is well worth the side trip.
