I'm amazed when the hotel supposed to pick two people with different flights at the airport and my friend happened to have postphoned flight. We stayed in a building adjacent to the hotel. The room was spacious
even for us standards. It was exceptionally clean. The staff was not
just friendly but went out of their way to help us. Martin and Milan
were exceptional. They located a fly shop in Prague and gave us
instructions on how to get there. The restaurant was very good and we
thought good value. I don't have a lot to compare with but wines
were comparable to us wine store prices in the restaurant not a 2 or 3

All we can say is "Wow"! We had 6 adults and 2 children under
age 2 with us. The apartment at Malostranska Residence was over the top
for what we were hoping for. We loved it!

Nicole and her staff were extremely friendly and helpful the appt was beautiful inside very clean and well furnished the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and spotless very well positioned for tourists highly reccommended. The weather was very wet and Nicole was so helpful in finding and booking suitable restaurant for us . The taxi transfer which she arranged was also first class and good value reliable . We booked a three night stay at this beautiful hotel just before Christmas and it was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in.

We liked the location of the hotel - just below the Castle. It looks like an old building but nicely renovated. Cosy and romantic, with a lot of wooden and "golden" details. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room...We would be happy to stay at Golden Star again.

I'm very fussy and we were travelling in a group of 8. All of us could just praise the hotel. We are not the easiest of people to deal with as we can all be demamding, but there was nothing too difficult for the staff there. Theresa especially was fantastic with us.
