I'm amazed when the hotel supposed to pick two people with different flights at the airport and my friend happened to have postphoned flight. But, instead of us telling them, they called us and told us about the delay and will arrange for delayed picked up as flight new schedule. Definitely great service from the hotel. We stayed in a building adjacent to the hotel. The room was spacious
even for us standards. It was exceptionally clean. The staff was not
just friendly but went out of their way to help us. Martin and Milan
were exceptional. They located a fly shop in Prague and gave us
instructions on how to get there. The restaurant was very good and we
thought good value. I don't have a lot to compare with but wines
were comparable to us wine store prices in the restaurant not a 2 or 3

All we can say is "Wow"! We had 6 adults and 2 children under
age 2 with us. The apartment at Malostranska Residence was over the top
for what we were hoping for. We loved it!

Nicole and her staff were extremely friendly and helpful the appt was beautiful inside very clean and well furnished the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and spotless very well positioned for tourists highly reccommended. The weather was very wet and Nicole was so helpful in finding and booking suitable restaurant for us . The taxi transfer which she arranged was also first class and good value reliable . The Hunger wall apartments are in a great location which is out of the main tourist attraction of the old town, but in a neighbourhood with lots of bars and restaurants and within walking distance to all of the attractions. High value, spacious and gracious apartment that felt like home. It is a most pleasant walk into the Old Town from this location across the grass of Kampa to the Charles Bridge. The cafe breakfast and lunches delighted my palate. Coffee tasted wonderful to my palate and comparable to Portland and Seattle coffees in the NW US. The employees smiles were ever-present.

We liked the location of the hotel - just below the Castle. It looks like an old building but nicely renovated. Cosy and romantic, with a lot of wooden and "golden" details. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room...We would be happy to stay at Golden Star again.

Location is in quite place, very near to Vysehrad Cathedral - good place for quiet walk last day before departure. 35 min by walk to the Charles Bridge, if you don;t like trams and metro. Martin - the man in hotel - is very courteous and attentive. Next visit to Prag will stay in the same hotel, and will bring good bottle for him. Room itself is OK

He told us where to find the local restaurant, bar and shops. The area is very safe to walk round at night which we liked as the apartment is next to the park. Matin kindly waited with us until the minibus arrived to take us to the airport. Brilliant holiday

This was my third stay at Almandine. Lov it. Location is perfect, just off the main square and 5min walk from the Charles bridge. Easy to reach all the sites from here. Staff was so helpful, and the food was terrific. Apartments were clean and comfortable. I would stay there again and I highly recommend it.
