  Our stay at Concordia apartments was excellent! It is very clean, modern, with all the equipment you might need. The owner is very kind and helpful! Our towels were changed every 2 days (which is unusual for apartments) and it was completely cleaned in the middle of our 10 days stay! The shops and the bus station is very near, and the beach is lov... vad folk säger » ely. A great location if you want to stay out of the old town which gets very crowded! But still, it is only a ten minute bus drive to it if you want - Kate and her Mama were excellent hosts with great tips on where to eat. It is the first apartment that we have stayed in that has complete instructions and directions. The apartment is spacious for a couple with a pharmacy immediately below. Close to bus stops (100 yards) and a 10 minute trip to the old city. Taxi rank just past the bus stops. Supermarket approx 300 yards away.   The building is located just a few hundred metres from the old town walls and is set on a beautiful hillside location with a great with over the sea and the old town itself. Getting to the building is easy; even if you don't like climbing stairs, there are not so many to get to the building. The apartment was incredibly clean and smelt wonderful. The interior was lovely, bed was comfy and everything worked. The location couldn't have been better- close to the city walls but far enough and off the road so there was little noise.   The guests of Nike Apartments have a common terrace with a nice view of the Lapad Beach. The room and the bathroom are very clean. Every day (or at lest every 2 days) the owner changed the bath towels and the bed sheets. The owner is helpful and very friendly. The apartment is not in the old town but the station “Lapad Post Office” of bus 6 (to Pile Gate) is not very far (about 10 min of walking downhil - We enjoyed our studio. It had everything we need, it was clean, looking very nice, I think it would be great for a family with kids. The host was great, they welcome us even if we arrived at midnight because of some problems we had at the border. The place it's really 200m up the Lapad Beach and you have a nice view.

  We stayed at the apartment for a week in October. The owners were lovely and very helpful. The apartment was very modern, clean and had everything we needed. The apartment is 10 mins from the beach and bars and restaurants and 5 mins from the bus stop that will take you on the 10 min journey to the old town. There is also and mini supermarket under the apartments. The location is 250 m to the copacabana beach, 2 min walk away from bus stop to the old town, and 5 min. walk from the street with a lot of bars and restaurants.

  Hotel Adria has the most amazing view in Dubrovnik! Hotel rooms are the best we've stayed in - very modern, decent size, comfortable beds, nice clean modern bathrooms and large balcony with, again, an amazing view over the marina! Everything is very clean. Very nice view over the port of Gruz. Our room had a big terrace and from what I could see most of the rooms have them. Free parking (in abundance), very easy to find, situated on the main road so if you are with a car very practical for trips to other towns along the coast (no need to enter the city). All in all, to me it seems like very good value for money. In most countries that I have been to you could find rooms like this only

  While we had to phone (the number is on the door) to let the owner know we had arrived he came promptly and let us in. No 24 hour staff but lots of useful information (including a Croatia Lonely Planet for use by guests). Pleasant terrace with good views. 15 min or so walk to the old town (uphill on the way back) - there is a bus from directly out... vad folk säger » side (which also goes to the bus station) - Friendly and helpful staff. As it os said, it os about 1 km away from the City walls but it is a nice walk. Moreover, it is located near one of the only places where you can park your car for free. It has a wonderful view in the terrace and you really feel like you are at home. It has some beaches nearby with a classy restaurant.

The room is surprisingly large and tidy and has what you expect (including a hair dryer!).
