  The hotel is located away from the craziness of Old Town Dubrovnik, so it is quiet and peaceful. The design of the hotel is well-thought out, and much attention has been paid to making it pleasing to the eye. Everything is done tastefully, and the place is sparkling clean. It was too cool to try the pool, but it looked like a relaxing paradise. - The hotel is beautiful. We had the room overlooking the pool (#12). Very private and no street noise whatsoever. The common areas are comfortable but generally deserted as you might expect in a boutique hotel with 13 rooms. The concierge, Deni, was extremely nice and helped make our stay there unforgettable. She arranged for bag lunches to be ready for us when we took an early day trip to Montenegro, and next day arranged a very good deal on a rental car which made for a spectacular day.

The hotel restaurant was good, we enjoyed the breakfasts and also enjoyed dinner there once.

  Service, staff, and location were great. The rooms were spacious with great views. The door to door bus service to Town was excellent.   A very nicely appointed apartment in a lovely location, very close to the bus and shopping centre. We were met with the warmest of welcomes from the charming owner, Dubravka, who speaks fluent English. Even the location was great. The appartment was close the busstation and only a 20 min walk from the old centre of Dubrovnik.

  My husband and I stayed at Batala apartments for 3 nights and found it to be extremely good value in an otherwise fairly expensive city. Our double room was quite big and had an extra single bed and seating area as well. The bathroom was well appointed and the shower very very good.   Up market !! - Location was perfect, being directly outside Old Town. Being so close toPile Gate also meant that it was a very short walk to the hotel aftergetting off the bus from the airport. The staff was extremely friendly -the lady who checked me in remembered my name throughout my stay and wasvery helpful!

  The best thing of all, and I think a little known secret is the rooftop terrace overlooking Dubrovnik. My husband and I would go up there at the end of 2 hot and sweaty days, and it was the perfect place to watch the sun set and the swallows swoop over that beautiful ancient city.
