  It is elegant but also very friendly and comfortable. The situation in the old town is full of character and the staff could not have been more helpful. I was on a winter break with my husband and I would recommend it highly. We did have to walk (5 mins) from the old town gate as cars cannot drive up to the hotel, but this added to the charm. - ... vad folk säger » It's location was perfect.   Up market !! - Location was perfect, being directly outside Old Town. Being so close toPile Gate also meant that it was a very short walk to the hotel aftergetting off the bus from the airport. The staff was extremely friendly -the lady who checked me in remembered my name throughout my stay and wasvery helpful!

  This is most definitely a first class 5 star hotel from the moment of pickup from airport. The hotel is a designers dream no detail too small for them. Open spaces yet a feeling of intimacy. Fabulous room with small balcony and big view. Great location with private boat ride to walled city several time a day (mini van provided if weather does not ... vad folk säger » permit boat). 5 Star restaurant, bit pricey but worth every penny. Plenty of good food places in town too. Indoor outdoor swimming pool, outdoor lunch - The location is magnificent. The beds are very comfortable and enormous. Every room has a sea view which is spectacular. Simply adored the courtesy vaporetta that shuttles between the hotel and the old harbour in Dubrovnik every hour.
