  The hotel is located in an old house outside but very near the Pile gate (one of two to the Old City). Very convenient! The room is surprisingly large and tidy and has what you expect (including a hair dryer!).   It is elegant but also very friendly and comfortable. The situation in the old town is full of character and the staff could not have been more helpful. I was on a winter break with my husband and I would recommend it highly. We did have to walk (5 mins) from the old town gate as cars cannot drive up to the hotel, but this added to the charm. - ... vad folk säger » It's location was perfect.   The hotel is located away from the craziness of Old Town Dubrovnik, so it is quiet and peaceful. The design of the hotel is well-thought out, and much attention has been paid to making it pleasing to the eye. Everything is done tastefully, and the place is sparkling clean. It was too cool to try the pool, but it looked like a relaxing paradise. - The hotel is beautiful. We had the room overlooking the pool (#12). Very private and no street noise whatsoever. The common areas are comfortable but generally deserted as you might expect in a boutique hotel with 13 rooms. The concierge, Deni, was extremely nice and helped make our stay there unforgettable. She arranged for bag lunches to be ready for us when we took an early day trip to Montenegro, and next day arranged a very good deal on a rental car which made for a spectacular day.

  Up market !! - Location was perfect, being directly outside Old Town. Being so close toPile Gate also meant that it was a very short walk to the hotel aftergetting off the bus from the airport. The staff was extremely friendly -the lady who checked me in remembered my name throughout my stay and wasvery helpful!

  The best thing of all, and I think a little known secret is the rooftop terrace overlooking Dubrovnik. My husband and I would go up there at the end of 2 hot and sweaty days, and it was the perfect place to watch the sun set and the swallows swoop over that beautiful ancient city.   Location was excellent! Right in the Old City on the port. Walking distance from everything in the Old City and the surrounding areas. Very short bus/taxi ride away from the main bus station. The owners were very friendly and helpful! They lent me an umbrella and a hairdryer without hesitation. Free Wi-Fi and a lot of informational booklets and maps in the room, and a set of towels. Every - At the port of Dubrovnik. From the rooms you see the port. From the bathroom it is a beautiful site of the boats at port and the sea beyond. When you step outside you are in Dubrovnik and the activity of the day. Mother and daughter operators were wonderful hostesses. I will stay there again.
