I stay once a year there, when on Business in Beijing. The staff is very helpful and is happy to take care of many issues, which would cost you a lot of time doing yourself, such as printing business cards etc. The rooms are great, with all facilities you want, nice coffee, great music system, free mini-bar.   Our entire family enjoyed our stay at the Peninsula. The room was spacious, clean and thoughtfully designed. I love how the desk area is separated from the rest of the room. It allows me to do some work while the kids are watching a movie.   They upgraded me to executive suite - it was a pleasant surprise. Also, I was super happy with their flexibility. I had to run errands and couldn't get back to the hotel to check out before 2 PM and they extended my stay without charging me extra. Really thoughtful and the staff was truly amazing. They upgraded me in an executive room, the swimming pool was quite big and the staff has been very friendly (despite some problems in the communication). The hotel is only few minutes away from the underground station.
