  We had booked a 2-bedroom family suite, which was apparently not available when we arrived--so for the same price were upgraded to a junior suite (living room, br, 1-1/2 baths) and adjacent deluxe room...very elegant and even more luxurious than we'd expected. Definitely on the pricey side, but a wonderful way to end our China trip! - Family room was fantastic, (5 adults) large and comfy beds with a large lounge area. Staff very attentive (particularly Raoul) in catering to needs and providing helpful suggestions for trips. Close to wangfujing street with lots of shopping and less than 5 mins walk to metro. Decor of hotel very grand with beautiful staircases and impressive entrance! Would definitely recommend this hotel (and whole family would too!)

  I requested a room on the east side as high as possible and was rewarded with spectacular views over the cctv tower and beyond. Very stylish and luxurious room with a big bath.   So spacious...upgraded to 2 bedroom when my requested room was unavailable...2 huge bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living area, nicely appointed kitchen and laundry area... Excellent location. Perfectly equipped. Very nice pool and hot tub which were great to wind down in after a hectic day in Beijing. Breakfast was quite good with a great view....wish... vad folk säger » more were included. Subway is extremely convenient. Staff very helpful. A lot of bang for your buck as far as I was concerned. I will search out - Home away from home for those with families (we had two children 12 and 9 years) clean room and brand new bathrooms, excellent service, next to metro, swimming pool for the August a blessing after a day out in Beijing, breakfast for two with reasonable variety and will cook eggs to your style, and real value for money if your going as a family. Our apartment had beautiful view of the iconic CCTV building.

  The room was very comfortable; we very much enjoyed the luxury after a long backpacking trip. The spa (swimming pool, sauna) is included in the room rate and there is no additional charge.   Very comfortable and clean, traditional chinese gardens and furnishings. Perfectly situated in the hutongs ( what a welcome difference to the bland upmarket chain hotels in the centre) . Visiting on foot is easy, taxis close to hand , atmospheric area . A great choice for seeing - The hotel was decorated in old style china, great if you want the feel of stepping back in time.The rooms were clean and tidy and the gardens and buildings are very picturesque. Staying here puts you in the centre of a real chinese community, all the people were friendly and if you are a westerner you will draw a few glances. Overall we were very pleased with the hotel and location
