  The hotel staff went out of their way to make our visit special. My husband made some requests because we were staying for our 44th anniversary, and the hotel staff went beyond what he requested.   Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, from the time we walked up the front steps to the time we checked out. We had an issue with our room and it was dealt with quickly and with little fuss. The room we ended up staying in was lovely, very spacious and tastefully decorated.
